1. Is flunow.bot a doctor?

No. Flunow.bot is an AI-powered assistant designed to help you navigate flu data and find care. While it can discuss general flu symptoms and census trends, it cannot provide a medical diagnosis or write prescriptions. It is a tool to help you get to a human doctor faster.

2. Do you track my exact location?

We only use location data to show you the Flu Census in your area and the nearest Urgent Care centers. You can choose to provide your Zip Code manually instead of sharing your GPS location if you prefer. We do not track your movements or sell your location history.

3. Is my conversation with the bot private?

Yes. Your chat is encrypted, meaning it’s protected from "snooping" while it travels from your device to our server. We review anonymized chat logs only to improve the bot’s accuracy (e.g., making sure it understands questions about new flu strains).

4. Do I need to provide my medical records?

No. You should never type sensitive information like your Social Security Number, detailed medical history, or Insurance ID into the chat. If you choose to use one of the Online Antiviral Providers we list, you will provide that information directly to them on their secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.
